If you have any questions about any of the items we sell within our online shop we encourage you to please get in touch via the contact form on our website. Alternatively, you can send an email to info@oldschoolcaraudio.com.au. We aim to respond to all enquiries within a 24-hour period.
Shipping information
Your order will be dispatched on the same day if payment has cleared into our account before the 11am cut off time. After this time, your order will be dispatched within the next business day.
We will do everything we can to ensure quick and secure delivery, but ultimately we cannot be held responsible for lost, stolen or damaged goods unless the item is insured. If problems do arise, please contact us, and we will do our best to resolve any issues.
For online purchases our shipping rates are as follows:
In Australia
T-Shirts: $10 shipping
Audio items (Small): $30 shipping
Audio items (Medium): $50 shipping
Audio items (Large): $80 shipping
International
T-Shirts: $30 shipping
Audio items (Small): $60 shipping
Audio items (Medium): $90 shipping
Audio items (Large): $160 shipping
You will be required to sign off upon delivery. If no one is present, a card will be left advising the nearest post office or depot where the item can be collected. Tracking details of your parcel will be emailed to you once your order has been dispatched.
For international orders, please contact us for the postage cost and approximate transit time to your country.
The displayed delivery time frames are estimates only. The actual delivery time is dependent on the shipping location, shipper’s processing capacity and other unforeseeable factors i.e. nature disasters, accidents etc. We can only guarantee dispatch within 24 hours, but cannot be accountable for delivery times.
Payment
We accept PayPal and Credit Card payments (Visa and Mastercard).
If you are making payment via Bank Transfer, payment must be received within 5 business days from the time the order has been processed. If you cannot make this timeline, please notify us of your situation otherwise your order will be removed from our systems. PayPal and Credit Card payments are taken in real time.
We may at our discretion request for additional information to verify credit card payments.
PayPal is not accepted for local pickups. Available methods are bank transfer and Credit Card Payments before, or cash on delivery.
Return Policy
All sales are final unless items are found to be damaged or defective.
Items that do not work must be reported within 5 days from the received date to the following email address: info@oldschoolcaraudio.com.au. A replacement will be issued if one is available. In the case another item is not available a refund will be issued. A 20% restocking fee applies to returned goods.
Items with manufacturers’ defects must be reported within the warranty period. We will repair or replace the product at our discretion and have it shipped back to you as soon as possible. In the event that the defective item cannot be repaired and replacement is not available, a full refund will be issued to your nominated Paypal, credit card or bank account.
No refund or replacement will be given until we have received the returned merchandise. Merchandise must be returned with all original contents, accompanied with invoice and return form.
Returned items with signs of physical damage, misuse, unauthorised repair or tampering, tested not faulty, will be refused and returned to sender at sender’s cost. Speakers and subwoofers with burnt or blackened voice coils are deemed abused or misused and will not be covered by standard warranty.
Items intended as gifts or otherwise should be inspected for physical damage; as such claims beyond the 5-day notice period will be rejected.
The buyer is responsible for compatibility of the product.
The buyer is responsible for demonstrating that a returned product is faulty, and that any installation or testing of the product was undertaken by a competent authority supported by an installation letter or certificate from the competent authority. A competent authority is defined as an authorised and registered Australian car audio reseller.
The buyer is responsible for return postage costs. Returned items should be carefully packed and shipped via traceable post.
This warranty does not limit your entitlements to other consumer warranties as provided by the Australian Consumer Guarantee.
In the instance where you are eligible for a refund, this will be processed within 10 business days upon receiving the returned item.
